Renters may arrive during the time slot they selected during online self check-in. No advance phone call is required. Simply arrive at your scheduled time and our team will assist with your vehicle pick-up.

Standard pick up times are 1 to 4pm during weekdays, but earlier pick up times may be available for a fee.

Renter and all drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a permanent, valid driver’s license (temporary replacement or provisional license not accepted) from country of residence and current identification. An International Driver's license translation is required if the original license doesn't have an English translation.

Yes, all of our vehicles are equipped with one tether anchor for a child seat. All other seats are equipped with a lap belt only. 

If you are utilizing our Road Bear RV shuttle service, please have the child seat ordered to your hotel. This ensures that we are allowed to transport you and your child to the branch location.

Traveling into Death Valley is not permitted between June 1 - September 30 due to the high heat.
Traveling on the Dempster Highway is not permitted between September 15 - May 15 due to road conditions.
Travel on any private, gravel, dirt, fire or logging road and other non-public roads, beaches, etc. is not permitted.
Traveling in or through the inner cities of New York, Montreal, Ottowa, and Quebec City (Canada) is not permitted.
Traveling into Mexico is not permitted.

Yes Late fees apply if the vehicle is returned after your scheduled drop-off time.
Late fees include:

  • the difference between your original drop-off time slot and the actual return time slot, plus
  • $50 for each additional hour after your scheduled drop-off time.

Example: If your scheduled drop-off time was 10:00 AM (valued at $30) and you return at 11:00 AM (valued at $150), the time-slot difference is $120. An additional $50 hourly late fee would also apply.

$1000 non-refundable, non-transferable down payment if pick-up is at San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas. Standard payment elsewhere.  

No prepaid cleaning fee. At least $500 charged at drop off, may be higher depending on amount of cleaning required at return. As high as $3000.
